SYMPTOMS
When you send an e-mail message in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Microsoft Office Outlook, you receive the following error message:
You do not have enough privileges to access the Microsoft CRM Object or perform the requested operation. For more information, contact your system administrator.
Do you want to send the e-mail?
If you click Yes, the e-mail will be sent out, but no corresponding activity will be created in Microsoft CRM.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when all the following conditions are true:

You have a restricted security role in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. |
|
• |
Multiple contacts, accounts, leads, queues, or users have the same e-mail address. |
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 service pack that contains this hotfix.

Restart requirement
If you are prompted, restart the computer after you install the hotfix.
Removal information
To remove this hotfix from a computer that is running Microsoft CRM client for Microsoft Office Outlook or Microsoft Dynamics 3.0 server, use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. System administrators can use the Spunist.exe utility to remove this hotfix from a computer that is running Microsoft CRM client for Microsoft Office Outlook or Microsoft Dynamics 3.0 server.
The Spuninst.exe tool is located in the %Windir%\$NTUninstallKB920859$\Spuninst folder.
